Thomas in front of the German Reichstag

I have made some portraits of me, my girlfriend and family members.

I really begin to enjoy doing portraits. I think, I have my first passion in photography with my 7D and my beloved Canon 50mm 1.4 and the Sigma 30mm 1.4.

The bakery Hofpfisterei in Potsdam

I spent some days in Potsdam whenI took my exam in the ISTQB Foundation Level certificate. While walking around in the evening I took these shots with my iPhone:

The sun shining through a tree

Today I took a walk along the newly renaturated Isar in Munich and made a few shots.

I can’t tell for sure, why they first resulted in B&W pictures, because it’s been a beautiful sunny day… I’ve also added colored versions of the shots to show you what I’m talking about. :-)

Today’s a great day!

Phil Wolkendorf and Jean John of The Lost Rivers

I recently met some friends from my place of study Tübingen in Munich, where they played an impressive gig in the Kranhalle on April, 15th 2011.
‘The Lost Rivers’
have their own genre in my iTunes catalogue: Shoegaze, Psychedelic, Experimental

And it sounds exactly like it! :)

I made a few photos and since I still consider myself a beginner, only a few led to – let’s say – acceptable results.
But you have to check out ‘The Lost Rivers’. Check their homepage for tour dates!
